ARTISTIC DIRECTOR: EClipse

TRAINEE PRODUCER: eclipse

Following a comprehensive review of its work since 2003, Eclipse Theatre is about to embark upon a new and exciting three-year programme in which it is planned to create a fully independent, sustainable theatre company. To lead this process, we are now looking for an Artistic Director and Trainee Producer.

Eclipse Theatre is an Arts Council funded initiative which is hosted by a partnership of producing theatres, Birmingham Repertory Theatre, New Wolsey Theatre, Ipswich and West Yorkshire Playhouse.

Candidates for both posts will be expected to demonstrate excellent knowledge of and commitment to contemporary Black and Asian theatre.

HEAD OF SOUND

The Head of Sound is responsible for the day-to-day running of our busy
sound department. Applicants must have at least 3 years’ management
experience, working in a producing theatre or similar organisation.

We are looking for a motivator and team leader with effective
communication skills, strong organisational ability and a commitment to
the training and development of staff. The successful applicant will have
expertise in; operating, live mixing and sound engineering, with excellent
knowledge of design technology and communications systems.
